Family Outdoor Network's Mission: To connect families with pre-teen kids with quality family outdoor adventures that will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Llama Trekking in the Mountains of Western North Carolina: Trips suitable or younger kids and ay trips and overnight trips for families with older kids. This is a great way to get up close and personal with the mountains. You have the support of a guide and of course the llamas carry the gear.

Kayak Instruction from a company lead by one of the world's greatest whitewater canoe paddlers ever. If you want to learn, learn from the best.

Whitewater Rafting on the Pigeon River. A fun whitewater blast on Class III & IV whitewater in the Smokies. It's definitely a step up from our "Raft with Kids" on the Tuckaseigee. Our Family Outdoor Network partner on the Pigeon is partially owned and operated by an Olympic Whitewater Paddler.

Raft the Nantahala River, one of the country's most rafted rivers and for good reason. An easily accessible and and frolicking rafting trip through Class II & III rapids in the nantahala Gorge.

Multi-Day White Water Rafting Trips Out West in the canyons and rivers of Colorado and surrounding states. This is your vacation. Our outfitter partner has been taking families rafting for over 20 years and is recognized as a leader in overnight rafting trips for families.

"Raft with Kids" The leader in taking families with younger kids whitewater rafting. We take as young as age 4 and have been doing it for 12 years.

"Spirit of the Appalachians" This play written by Amy Ammons Garza and performed in the mountains of North Carolina. It's a great play that depicts the struggles and triumphs of growing up in the mountains years ago. Your child's mind will be opened up to a new view and perspective of life. Everyone will be uplifted.
